About

Árverésindex is an open database of the Hungarian forced-sale property market. Every hour we fetch the public auction lists of the Hungarian Chamber of Court Bailiffs (MBVK), the tax authority (NAV) and the liquidation portal (EÉR), store a snapshot, and build a searchable list, per-listing history and closing statistics from it. We are not an authority, not a bailiff, not a broker and we charge nothing: bidding takes place in the official systems after registering as a bidder (in person with any bailiff, HUF 6,000).

Why

The auction list is public, yet a string of companies sells access to it as "bank-repossessed" or "alternative" property for upfront fees. The advertised price in those offers is the legal minimum bid, not the expected sale price. We want to remove that information asymmetry: all data here is free and machine-readable.

Data handling

We store only property data published in the official notice (address, description, prices, deadlines). We do not collect or display debtors' names or any other personal data. If you find any, write to hello@arveresindex.hu.

For email alerts we store your address and the filter, used only to send alerts; double opt-in, unsubscribe any time, nothing is sent after unsubscribing.
